New Member Spotlight- Tremco, Inc.

It is safe to say that everyone remembers 2020, but no one really wants to. As the pandemic set in and businesses struggled, spring break turned into extended summer and masks were required in public, everything was so unusual. And while there was fear of the unknown and how soon things would go back to normal, there was also hope.

The construction industry is coming back stronger than ever, and even through the difficult last year, the Alabama Concrete Industries Association (ACIA) retained its membership and welcomed new companies into our organization. We are excited to start a new blog series introducing these new members and look forward to the bright future ahead.

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG)

Tremco Construction Products Group has been a member of the ACIA since May and is the construction industry’s only provider of comprehensive systems and services for all six sides of the building enclosure. Whether new construction or restoration, commercial, residential, in-field or in-plant – structures with CPG systems are easier to build and maintain, virtually impervious to the elements, and can provide any look desired. For restoration and renovation of existing structures, Tremco CPG’s six-sided solutions deliver demonstrable performance at the lowest possible life cycle costs and ensure peace of mind through long-term warranties and maintenance programs.

When talking with John Ritch, technical sales rep for the 90-year-old company, he stated how important relationships are, and how the company feels that it will be beneficial to ACIA.

“When everyone works together for the same goal… that ultimately benefits others in the future,” he said. “I love being a part of and seeing new projects that are better builds for our future. Structures that are not only tornado and hurricane resistant but also energy efficient.”

Tremco has several divisions, including Tremco CPG which represents the combined power of Dryvit Systems, Nudura Inc., Willseal and Tremco Incorporated’s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing, Roofing & Building Maintenance; Tremco Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing, a best-in-class water and vapor barrier system for all vertical and horizontal surfaces that have been tested and proven in the most demanding conditions: extreme temperatures, punishing traffic, seismic activity, hurricane zones, and Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance, which not only outperforms traditional membrane roofs, but includes an exclusive maintenance program to ensure they will be leak-proof for as long as the building stands.

“We are well-diverse and bring a ton of knowledge on how to protect your building envelope on all six sides that is backed up with a solid one envelope and one warranty program,” said Ritch.

Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 14 manufacturing facilities, six distribution sites, and three technology sites and employ more than 2,000 people across North America. For more information, visit www.tremcoinc.com.
