ACIA makes Contribution to help with Student Travel

Last month, the association made a contribution to the ACI student chapters from Auburn University and University of Alabama to assist with their travel cost to the ACI Convention.

This year’s convention included a student competition that challenged the teams to develop workable mortar. The team from Auburn was able to finish in tenth place while the team from Alabama finished 14th overall. Thirty one teams from across the world competed in the challenge.

Nine students from Auburn and 2 students from Alabama attended the event. Congratulations to all the students for representing the state at the national event.
