ACIA to launch Emerging Leaders Program

The Alabama Concrete Industries Association (ACIA) is excited to announce the launch of its Emerging Leaders Program, a premier leadership development initiative created to invest in the future of Alabama’s concrete industry. Designed for rising professionals employed by ACIA member companies, the program equips participants with the leadership skills, industry knowledge, and professional relationships needed to excel in an evolving marketplace.

Through four interactive two-day sessions held between October 2026 and June 2027, participants will engage in a unique blend of leadership development, industry education, networking opportunities, and behind-the-scenes tours of industry operations across Alabama. Guided by experienced leadership facilitators and industry experts, the program provides practical tools that participants can immediately apply within their organizations while fostering a deeper understanding of the concrete industry as a whole.

Purpose

The ACIA Emerging Leaders Program is a strategic leadership development initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders within Alabama’s concrete industry. Through a combination of leadership training, industry-specific education, networking, and hands-on field experiences, the program will strengthen both individual participants and the member companies they represent.

Program Structure

• Selective cohort — 12 participants

•Open to employees of ACIA member companies in good standing

• Four two-day sessions: October 2026 – June 2027

• Tuition: $2,500 per participant (includes programming, meals, events & tours)

• Travel, lodging and summer convention registration are NOT included with tuition

Each session includes:

• Day 1: Industry tour and networking event/dinner

• Day 2: Leadership workshop with professional facilitators and industry experts

Applications open on July 8 and are due by September 8, 2026. The final roster of participants will be announced before October 1st.
