ACIA Recognizes Mixer Driver Appreciation Week

The Alabama Concrete Industries Association (ACIA) recognized September 27th through October 1st , 2021, as Mixer Driver Appreciation Week. The second annual program honored the longest serving driver at each one of ACIA’s ready mix member companies. Recognized drivers were given a golf shirt, hard hat, baseball hat and $100.

John Sorrell, director of ACIA, met with drivers across the state throughout the week. Drivers will also be recognized on all social media platforms.  We appreciate your support of our industry’s front-line workers and were proud to celebrate these valuable employees. A special thanks to our sponsors, Birmingham Freightliner, Nextran Truck Centers and McPherson Oil Company.
