ACIA celebrates Truck Driver Appreciation Week

The Alabama Concrete Industries Association (ACIA) established October 5 – 9, 2020, as Mixer Driver Appreciation Week. The new program honored the longest serving driver at each one of ACIA’s ready mix member companies. Recognized drivers were given a golf shirt, gift card, hard hat and a baseball hat.

John Sorrell, director of ACIA, met with drivers across the state throughout the week. Drivers were also recognized on all social media platforms.  We appreciate your support of our industry’s front-line workers and we enjoyed celebrating these valuable employees.

Thank you to our sponsors; Gold Sponsors – Nextran Truck Centers, Truckworx & Silver Sponsors – Beck Industrial, Con-Tech Manufacturing, McNeilus
