The ACIA has developed a monthly economic data report called Trendlines, which will provide members with the latest cement and ready mix consumption for the state as well as housing permits issued for the 25 largest homebuilder association chapters. The report will also provide historical production trends, and data included in the report will be based upon USGS cement shipments and utilizes a conversion factor to estimate ready mix production.

February Cement and Ready Mix Production Increases 28% Over 2015

Ready mix production for February 2016 grew by 28% compared to February 2015. Nationally ready mix production for February increased by an average of 11.4%. The state experienced a wetter than normal February in 2015 which decreased demand for our production. To view the full report click below.

Single Family Building Permits for February Offered Mix News

Single family building permits issued during February 2016 for the entire state saw an increase of 8.7% compared to February 2015 and an increase of 2.0% in relation to January 2016, but overall building permits issued for the first two months of 2016 are down 7.5%.
