The Alabama Concrete Industries Association would like to congratulate Chapman Sisson Architects for winning the 2011 Top Block Award. Chapman Sisson was presented the award for their architectural work on the recently completed Goldsmith Schiffman Elementary School in Huntsville. Butch Wyatt presented the winning firm framed photos of the project as well as the Top Block Award. Butch also presented Kevin Vernazza of Sherman Industries with a trophy as Sherman manufactured the block used in the school project.

The award was presented in conjunction with the Alabama chapter of the American Institute of Architects’ Awards Ceremony on February 10th in Birmingham. The event was attended by 150 architects and industry affiliates from around the state. The ACIA served as a platinum sponsor for the AIA Award Ceremony.
